Last month, we featured other green drinks for St. Patty's Day, but we couldn't ignore the old favorite - green beer.
Depending on the beer you're using, you'll want to try it in advance to get the perfect green color. To start:
- Put 2-3 drops of green food coloring in the bottom of the glass
- Add beer (for the best color, use a light-colored beer like Budweiser or Bud Light).
- The color will mix in as the beer is added. No need to stir.
- Serve
Want to keep experimenting? Try adding more or less food coloring. Blue food coloring can also give your light-colored beer a nice green color (but can give the head a blue tint).
