HomeRserving® Complaints and Appeals
Rserving® places a high priority on customer satisfaction.  Therefore all complaints and appeals are addressed promptly and every effort is made to come to a satisfactory resolution for all parties involved.

Definitions
A complaint is a written request for corrective action directly relating to the activities of Rserving®. A complaint may be a result of an error by either party, (for example if a student prints their certificate with a typing error).

An appeal is a written request made to Rserving® for reconsideration of an adverse decision (for example, the student has exceeded his/her attempts at the final exam and is locked out of the final exam).  .

Access to Information
Information and access to the process for submitting a complaint or an appeal is readily available to primary stakeholders on the Rserving® website with all other information about the food handler course: https://rserving.com/web/pscc_state.php?siteid=251&flag=food%20safety%20handlers&statecode=SD

Policy
Complaints and appeals are submitted in writing by using the Complaint / Appeal Form at www.Rserving.com/appeal.

Upon submission, the complaint / appeal is automatically entered in the Complaint / Appeal Requests database.  All complaints / appeals will be evaluated based on applicable company policies and procedures, the customer request for resolution (if applicable), and any other relevant information.  Should the complaint / appeal involve an Rserving employee, that employee may not be part of the determination or resolution.

Complaints and appeals are resolved and the result communicated to the customer via email or other written communication within 10 business days of when the complaint / appeal form was submitted by the customer.  Should the resolution involve changes to the customer account, the Rserving® representative will record notes on the account.

All complaints and appeals will be treated as confidential to the extent feasible.
